The Weber Q-220 Grill - Grill Anywhere In Style With The Q-220

Now that summer is in full swing, I decided to dust off my portable Weber q-220 grill and take a little vacation away from home. Of course grilling has always been one of my favorite pastimes and I have had my q-220 for several years, but I have never really gone on any camping trips that let me experience the full potential of the grill.

By experience the full potential I mean to lug it out into the middle of the woods and have a good old fashion cookout. Since the q-220 is light enough to throw in the back of my car, I was easily able to take off for the weekend without any problems.

That was one of the reasons why I purchased this grill a few years ago. It was the only one in the store that looked durable enough to last a little while, while still being light enough to carry around. The grill also came with a 5 year warrantee from Weber so I figured what the heck.

Normally I use the Weber Q-220 grill at home and it works well, but recently I have gotten a new larger grill, so the q-220 does not get used as much as it used to. I still think that it is comparable to my larger grill, even though I cannot lug my larger grill into the woods for a cookout.

I think that the heaviest thing about the q-220 grill is the cast iron grill grates. Although they are quite heavy, I am glad that Weber actually included them with the grill. Cooking over cast iron is a joy and one of the features that I could not find on any other grills in the same price range.

All in all the q-220 has served me well these last few years and I would never even think of using another grill to cook on, even though I do have my other larger grill at home.

I guess I better get going if I am going to get started on my camping trip, but if you are interested in learning more about the Weber Q-220 grill, you can check out http://www.weberqgrillreview.com for more information on this and other Q grills.
