Thanks to y newly acquired grilling cook book, "Weber's Way To Grill" I have been busy grilling up a storm on my old kettle grill. There are so many recipes to try that I would have to cook every night for the whole summer and still would not be able to try them all.
I also had a slight problem in the middle of all this. Apperently my old Weber grill had completely rusted out around the leg and one day as I was grilling, it let go and I had hot coals and uncooked meat all over the deck.
I don't know how I did not notice this before, but I realized right then and there as I hosed down the deck to prevent it from catching on fire, that I needed a new grill.
At first I was not sure which one I should get, or even if I should go with another charcoal grill, which is what my last grill was. I knew I wanted something fairly large and definitely something sturdy! I did not want to have to go through that little mishap again!
I finally decided on a Weber Genesis E-330 gas grill. Although the price was a little steep for me, I decided that it would be worth taking the plunge and buying the darn thing. I was right.
The E-330 is an awesome grill and I can't say enough good things about it. At first I was not sure if it would be right for me because of the size of the grilling surface, but I found after I tried it out at a friend's house, that I needed this grill in my life.
It cooks food as well as you would expect, but I thought I would not like it as much because it was a gas grill and I consider myself to be a hardcore charcoal griller. I have to admit that I am a big fan of gas grills now, assuming of course that they all work as well as this one does.
