The Weber Genesis e-330 Grill - A Review Of This Summers Hottest Grill

During the summertime many people love to get together and grill up some great food. Something about the nice warm air and the cool nights brings people together and if you are one of those people who love this time of year, you are probably really psyched about firing up the old grill and getting together with some old friends.

If you are thinking of springing for a new grill this summer, you have probably been looking at some different models and have noticed the Weber Genesis E-330 liquid propane gas grill. This grill is one that people all over the world are enjoying, and in this short review we will take a look at some of the things people really like about it.

The first thing you will notice about this grill is its sturdy construction. I know of many grills made today that are wobbly and not very well designed, but one look at the E-330 and you will know it is a different breed.

The whole frame is solid steel and the painted finish is baked right on to the body so it won't rust. I don't know about you, but I like quality made products that will last a long time and this grill seems like it is built like a tank so that is a plus in my book.

Something that people really seem to like about the E-330 is how well it cooks food. You would not want a grill that does not perform right? Well many people have stated that it gets nice and hot quickly, we're talking 500 degrees plus in less than ten minutes.

That’s pretty good when you consider the fact that the 3 burners under the hood are not draining the propane tank like you would think. It is actually really good on fuel and with the price of propane today that is something to look for when buying a grill.

What's really cool about the Genesis e-330 is the precision propane gauge that comes with it. Instead of relying on the one on your tank, which is often inaccurate, you can tell exactly how much fuel is in the tank at any given time. This is a good feature to have if you are sick of putting your barbecue on hold because you ran out of propane.

The E-330 is new for the 2011 model year, although the Genesis line has been around for much longer. The main thing that separates this model from other Genesis models is the Sear Station, which is basically just another burner to help your sear meat by cranking out some serious heat. Is it worth the extra 50 dollars it costs for this model? It depends on what your intentions are this summer, but many people certainly think it is.

One last thing to discuss is the grilling surface. You get plenty of room to cook on without having to sacrifice much deck space, and the cast iron grilling surface makes cooking meat on this grill a breeze. It leaves sear marks and locks in juices and if you have never tried grilling over cast iron before, you are in for a treat.
Many people seem to like this grill and it may be the right one for you if you are thinking of getting a new grill for your home.

The Weber Q220 Grill - An Inside Review

If you are the type of person who needs a portable grill that will not let you down when you need it most, you may want to consider the Weber q220 grill. I have owned this grill for the past several years and it has yet to fail me. I have used it on various camping trips with my family, as well as at home around the house. In this review I will try to outline what people who own this grill really like about it, as well as touch on some things that users did not like about it so you can decide if it is right for you.

One of the things that many people like about the Weber q220 is how portable it is. Unlike other portable grills in the same price range, the q220 is both lightweight and durable making it a great choice for people who will be lugging it around. The reason it is so light is because of the cast aluminum body, which as you probably know, also makes it durable and protects it against the elements as well.

The cast iron grilling surface actually weighs almost as much as the grill itself, but it is a weight that most people don't mind carrying around. This is because the cast iron absorbs heat very well and gives users a unique grilling experience that most other grills just do not provide. The grilling surface is actually rather large for a portable grill as well. You can easily cook for 5 or 6 people at a time while not having to worry about burning through propane.

Since the q220 has a small footprint and a small burner, it is very efficient on propane. Many users like how long the small tank of propane lasts them. Of course you can also connect a larger 20 pound propane tank to the grill with a special adapter, but some people who have done this have stated that the regulator on the burner seems to burn out quickly this way.

I have to admit that I have never had this problem myself, and often grill using the larger tank so I am not sure if it is directly related. One thing that you can be sure of if you want to prolong the life of the burner, is that keeping your grill covered while not in use will help keep the burner clean and make the grill last you a very long time.

The issue with the burner was something that a few users claimed that they did not like about the grill, but as I stated above, this may be avoidable. Some of the things that users love about this grill is how quickly it heats up and I can agree with them there. The Q-220 warms up to operating temperature within a few minutes and lets you start cooking right away, which is good if you are hungry and do not feel like waiting a while for the grill to warm up.

There are a few other things that people like about this grill, and instead of going on about what they are you can find out everything you need to know at http://www.weberqgrillreview.com

The Weber Q-220 Grill - Grill Anywhere In Style With The Q-220

Now that summer is in full swing, I decided to dust off my portable Weber q-220 grill and take a little vacation away from home. Of course grilling has always been one of my favorite pastimes and I have had my q-220 for several years, but I have never really gone on any camping trips that let me experience the full potential of the grill.

By experience the full potential I mean to lug it out into the middle of the woods and have a good old fashion cookout. Since the q-220 is light enough to throw in the back of my car, I was easily able to take off for the weekend without any problems.

That was one of the reasons why I purchased this grill a few years ago. It was the only one in the store that looked durable enough to last a little while, while still being light enough to carry around. The grill also came with a 5 year warrantee from Weber so I figured what the heck.

Normally I use the Weber Q-220 grill at home and it works well, but recently I have gotten a new larger grill, so the q-220 does not get used as much as it used to. I still think that it is comparable to my larger grill, even though I cannot lug my larger grill into the woods for a cookout.

I think that the heaviest thing about the q-220 grill is the cast iron grill grates. Although they are quite heavy, I am glad that Weber actually included them with the grill. Cooking over cast iron is a joy and one of the features that I could not find on any other grills in the same price range.

All in all the q-220 has served me well these last few years and I would never even think of using another grill to cook on, even though I do have my other larger grill at home.

I guess I better get going if I am going to get started on my camping trip, but if you are interested in learning more about the Weber Q-220 grill, you can check out http://www.weberqgrillreview.com for more information on this and other Q grills.
